Cining Palace in the Palace Museum, Beijing

Ci Ning Palace building is located in the Forbidden City, the inner court of Longzong door outside the west side, was built in Ming Jiajing 15 years, 17 years completed. Wanli eleven years fire destroyed, thirteen years rebuilt. Qing along the Ming system, Shunzhi ten years to rebuild the Cining Palace, after the Kangxi, Qianlong, Guangxu dynasty repairs, Ming and Qing dynasties for the Empress Dowager, Empress Dowager residence.
